Anlässlich des Internationalen Frauentags setzen die Gleichstellungsakteurinnen der Universitätsmedizin Mannheim ein sichtbares Zeichen gegen psychische Gewalt: Das Gleichstellungsbüro der Medizinischen Fakultät Mannheim veranstaltet in Kooperation mit der Beauftragten für Chancengleichheit des Universitätsklinikums Mannheim am 5. März 2026 einen Lunch Talk zum Thema „Psychische Gewalt im Arbeits- und Lernumfeld – Mobbing erkennen, stoppen, vorbeugen“.
Der Lunch Talk verbindet einen kompakten, faktenbasierten Hauptimpuls mit der Vorstellung konkreter Unterstützungs- und Beschwerdewege vor Ort. Die Teilnehmenden sollen klare Kriterien und belastbare Orientierung für den Arbeits- und Lernalltag mitnehmen – und vor allem erfahren, wie sich Mobbing von „normalen“ Konflikten abgrenzen lässt. Im Mittelpunkt steht eine praxisnahe rechtliche Orientierung.

"Anfeindungen in der Wissenschaftskommunikation? Ein Workshop zum gezielten Umgang mit Hassrede und Wissenschaftsfeindlichkeit"

Wissenschaftsfeindlichkeit und Hassrede gegen Wissenschaftler*innen, Wissenschaftskommunikator*innen und wissenschaftlichen Einrichtungen haben, nicht zuletzt durch die Corona-Pandemie, spürbar zugenommen. Doch wie kann man in der Wissenschaftskommunikation auf solche Angriffe reagieren, sich darauf vorbereiten und Unterstützung finden? Dieser Workshop bietet einen Überblick über das Themenfeld mit einem kurzen Einblick in Geschlechterunterschiede, stellt die Beratungs- und Unterstützungsangebote der nationalen Anlaufstelle Scicomm-Support vor und vermittelt durch interaktive Übungen praktische Handlungsmöglichkeiten. GROW@Dresden 2026 is aimed at all students of underrepresented gender identities in mathematics, especially women, who are interested in exploring graduate programmes and research opportunities both within and beyond academia.
This two-day conference will take place at Technische Universität Dresden and is jointly organized with the mathematics community at the Max Planck Institute of Molecular Cell Biology and Genetics (MPI-CBG). Participants will gain insight into mathematical research, academic careers, and industry pathways, while connecting with a supportive network of faculty, researchers, and peers.The conference is open to Bachelor and Master students from universities in Germany and neighbouring countries, including international students. It is possible to apply for funding for hotel and/or travel costs in the registration. Talks and panels will be in English, but many of the mentors/volunteers/organisers will be able to speak in German and possibly other languages.
