Save the date - 10th Women's General Assembly

Dear women at KIT,

We would like to inform you that the next Women's General Assembly at KIT will take place on Thursday, 5 February 2026. This time, we want to focus on ‘Equality and diversity at universities – interfaces and differentiation’ and cordially invite you to join the discussion.

From 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., there will first be a keynote speech in the NTI lecture hall, building 30.10 on the South Campus. Afterwards, we would like to discuss the topic and offer you the opportunity to ask questions. The event will be rounded off with a get-together with snacks and drinks, where you will have the opportunity to get into conversation with each other and with the equal opportunities officers.

Please save the date now. The full programme, the official invitation and information on the registration procedure will be available soon here  (in German and English).

Another important note: Participation in the women's plenary meeting counts as working time. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the equal opportunities officers.

Kind regards,

Your equal opportunities officers at KIT

Survey on discrimination

From 12 November 2025 to 28 February 2026, the Federal Anti-Discrimination Agency will conduct the largest survey on discrimination in Germany to date. In order to encourage as many people as possible to participate, the survey will be promoted through a nationwide campaign.

Anyone aged 14 or over who has experienced discrimination in Germany can take part in the survey. Participation is anonymous, accessible and available in many formats and languages.

Further information and the link to the survey can be found at: https://diskriminierung-umfrage.de/en/.
